It measures watts with a selectable range of 300mW, 1W, 3W, 10W, 30W and 100W. mW, 200mW, 2W and 20W. It zeros out the way it's supposed to. It also has a mode setting for joules. Physically it's in okay shape. There are some scratches in the plastic faceplate, but nothing that would obstruct your view of the reading. I never noticed it before, but there is a circular hole in the meter itself behind the clear plastic. You can see it in the pictures below, right between the 5 and the 6 on the meter. It looks like someone shot it with a rather powerful laser. It didn't harm the clear plastic, but it burned a nice hole through the black meter behind it. Interesting! Calorimeter head is included. The calorimeter head has standard tripod threads on the bottom (like a camera) for use with any tripod. This unit worked fine last time I used it, but I no longer have a laser here to test it with, so I'm selling it in "as is" condition. One thing I can guarantee is that it's not DOA, and it will give you a reading. There's no reason why it shouldn't be accurate.
